I live in the uk. 19 years old and want to get a car.
I have tried quotes and the cheapest i have found per year is around £5000, which is a JOKE.
i want to know how to make it cheaper.
My dad is a taxi driver so i cannot use his insurance

and i choose third party fire and theft

Get third party insurance…. it won’t pay for your car if you crash it, or if someone hits it. But if you hit someone else it will pay them, fully legal.. ‘”third party”.
And look on Gocompare.com… My dads a minicab driver, so i couldn’t have his insurance, so i went on there and got a quote of £700 but I’m a girl… its like half price for girls… and i even checked to see how much it would be for males… and it was £1200 minimum and £7000 max… go for the third party insurance cover from cheap companies…. You don’t need stuff like windscreen cover do you…how often will you breaak your windscreen..
and buy a car on a low insurance group.. try top stick to insurance group one and two…
