Question by : What type of car insurance coverage do you have?
So, I just bought a new car, and when I called my insurance to switch over my policy the agent tried to sell me this that and the other, saying I really needed all these things since I have a new car now. Just wondering what other people have on their car, and have you ever needed more coverage then you had?

I have basic full coverage, and I also have uninsured or under insured motorist coverage (only because when I bought my very first car, I was hit by an illegal immigrant and my car was totaled – because of the circumstance with him obviously not having insurance alot of money came out of my pocket) so I wished I had that coverage then. But have never needed it since. The dealership covers alot of things for me that I was comfortable not getting additional insurance through my current auto insurance company (like theft protection garuntee, windows, tires, etc.)
