Question by rivvie: Where do I find information on how retail businesses have bounced back financially from near bankruptcy?
I am writing a research paper in college regarding a ficticious sportswear company and need to compare how other companies have pulled through, avoiding bankruptcy.

Look at the stock trends. If you’re comparing a sportswear company then track all the sportswear companies and see what the trends are. Don’t manufacture ideas….stick with the evidence. I mean most companies in general did really well up to around June of 2000 then they crashed…and since then stocks have every so slowly started creeping upward again but there’s no rebound or anything.

Requiring Debt Collectors to Verify the Debt–Your Secret Weapon against Debt Collections

When you get the first notice that a debt collector is after you – and even before that – you know you have debt problems. For help, go to yourlegallegup.com. There you will find a lot of information, much of it free. Within five days of first contact by a debt collector, you should get an opportunity to “dispute and request verification” of the debt. This video explains why you should do that. It isn’t hard for the debt collectors to do, but it will often make them go away. And if they don’t verify the debt you can sue them under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) for unfair debt collection practices. For information that will radically change what the debt collection process means to you, go to yourlegallegup.com Requiring Verification: youtu.be
