Question by Thank You: Is it ok to send a homeowners insurance agent a copy of my property management agreement?
I’ve never had a insurance agent ask me for this before, and I just wanna make sure there’s no disadvantage to doing this.

I’m getting homeowners insurance and an umbrella policy. The agent just said he wanted to look at the property management contract to see who is reponsible for what so he can see how much insurance I need.

It is to your advantage to keep both your insurance agent and your property manager well-informed. My property manager actually is on my policy as a loss-payee. Your property manager should have a copy of your insurance policy as well.
