As long as you have a Social Security Number, go ahead and fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Go to www.fafsa.ed.gov. It asks a variety of questions, including how much your family can contribute to your education (which if filing for independence would be $ 0). It also asks for your personal contributions, which would also be $ 0. Depending on the school to which you apply, there are a variety of grants, both federal and institutionally-based that can help with your education costs. But none of the work on it can really get started without the FAFSA.

TALKING MEN ~ It’s a MENtal Thing (My Time CIC); Whats better, debt restructuring or filing a bankruptcy and starting over with less debt?

‘TALKING MEN’ is My Time CIC film showing the problems faced by men who suffer from mental health issues and depression. The film features real service users of My Time giving accounts of their issues related to areas of mental health which are common in men. The film shows these as a series of animations. The film is a valuable aid to anyone wishing to learn about men’s mental health in the UK and how My Time CIC (based in Birmingham) is doing pioneering work to help raise awareness of the issue. The film was produced by Aidem Digital CIC (www.aidemdigital.org.uk) for My Time in close conjunction with the service users and staff of My Time. Question by BigNate: Whats better, debt restructuring or filing a bankruptcy and starting over with less debt?
Mortgage restructuring can help but may still be unaffordable with cutbacks and rising costs. Debt reorganizing can still be borderline affordable. A full bankruptcy would alleviate debt but be a negative impact on credit much longer. Whats best?

That all depends on your ability to live with the new costs of mortgage restructuring – Bankruptcy is always a last case scenario as it impacts your ability to purchase a new home or even rent an apartment.
