Question by : Why is the IRS not responding to my tax preparer fraud complaint?
I have sent 3 letter reporting a tax preparer for fraud and i still haven’t got any response from them yet. I kept my identity a secret on those letter because i am related to the preparer that is committing a fraud. He is preparing false tax returns by “padding” deductions (schedule A) and adding education and creating false business’ (schedule C)
I put an email address for them to respond. I’m 100% sure because i work for him. I think he gets people in legal trouble while he makes thousands from them.

Unless your letters were accompanied by extensive documentation supporting your accusations, then the IRS is not going to take you seriously. The fact that you sent your letters anonymously further undermines your credibility. Frankly, you sound non-credible, from a legal perspective.
