Question by Joshua: Can I just explain God’s miracles to the probability that something is bound to happen in life anyway?
Prayer doesn’t work right away, or right when you pray for it. According to Christians it takes time, but doesn’t that just mean God’s “miracles” are the probability that something will happen eventually anyway. If I need money, and I stand in the same place for long enough eventually a dollar bill will blow by. The odds in Southern CA are 1:10,000. Basically it happens all the time seeing as how there are millions of Californians.
And when people pray and they do get better from an illness, the give thanks to God.. but they never give thanks to the doctors and nurses who were actually there saving their lives.
I’ve heard them say in hospitals, “My faith is keeping me alive”
Well I guess you don’t need your feeding tube, doctors, nurses, paramedics, medication.. unless of course that was keeping you alive.
I just think it is really ungrateful for Christians to thank their God, for something that a paramedic or nurse did.

Sure. You can explain miracles anyway you wish.
Now, whether your explanation makes sense to the person to whom you are speaking is another issue entirely.
