Are there any good work from home jobs?; Jeff Martin's Loose Ends: The paradox of the poor

www.pbs.org – A six-month absence places a heavy burden on relationships.

Question by used2b1037: Are there any good work from home jobs?
I am a stay at home mother and am looking for extra income to help with bills. I have four kids so getting a job and putting them in day care would not be helpful. Are there any good work from home jobs that are not scams? Please only reply if you have experience or know someone that has experience from working from home. I am sick of looking at websites that promise money but are just a scam.

I have three all under nine with the youngest being three. And I work from home. With two companies. One I am on the phone and the other one I work when they are up because it is not phone work. There is a difference in Work From Home and an At Home Business. Please don’t get the two mixed up.

There is also a bunch of sites out there that will tell you how to find Work At Home Jobs and will help you to determine which ones are right for you and how to spot scams, etc. That cost nothing to use. They also have the companies that hire at home workers.

This is really important and I cannot stress this enough DO YOUR RESEARCH!

What to tell car insurance agent to get lowest possible insurance?; Insurance: Progressive CMO Jeff Charney

Question by anonymouse: What to tell car insurance agent to get lowest possible insurance?
Hello, my son (20 years old) is about to buy a used car and I am trying to add him to our policy. The agent says he’s gonna ask some questions about how he will use it. Obviously he’ll use my answers to these questions to price the insurance for the new (used) car.

What are somethings I can say that will get me the lowest insurance? Thanks!

Answer by Rick B
Well, since you want him to actually be covered, you simply tell him the truth!

If you lie and say it will only be driven to and from work, then your son kills someone on a trip out of state, you will probably not be covered and it would be fraud.

The simple answer is: Tell him the truth.

Ever since the debut of a certain talking reptile back in 1999, it's been difficult to stand out in the car-insurance business. Nobody knows that better than Jeff Charney. After all, the Progressive CMO used to head up marketing for Aflac.
