just a lil vid

Question by ArcticFang: Where was Jesus love and understanding when he attack the money changers with cords?
Wasn’t Jesus supposed to be all forgiving when he attack the money changers; quick little recap.

1. He was at the temple at twelve
2. He went missing for about 20 years
3. Got Baptiste by John
4. Spent 40 days and 40 nights in the wilderness being tempted by satin
5. He then went on to do some miracles
6. He then went to passover, got mad, found some cords and start whipping and attacking money changers at the temple.

Where was the kind and loving Jesus, why subcome to anger and hate, what happen to resolve and understanding, to show them or preach what they were doing was wrong at God’s Jewish Temple.

In my opinion “They’re could have been other uses for the money changers other than the temple, who could changed the standard Greek and Roman money for Jewish and Tyrian money for passing travelers from one country to another; and during passover, I’m sure most business where close for the day, and the only place to hold it at is in front of the Jewish Temple”

So why would a kind loving son of God, the guy who would offer you the other cheek, someone who would talk to resolve an issue would resort to violence and to use cord to whip money changers.
To Pontiff, a parent; yes.
A stranger; no

If god is going to spank his children, then let god spank, and no one else.
To vot:

According to the synoptics, Jesus targeted specifically the money changers and the dove sellers and justified his actions by quoting from the Book of Isaiah and the Book of Jeremiah:
To worldcom:

What sin did they do from the 10 commandants?
With Jesus doing miracles, why did he just do another miracle, a miracles of reason, instead of violence and to use cord to whip money changers.
To worldcom, yes the money changers were whipped.
To PattyAnn: what, you didn’t know that jesus spent 40 days and night being tempted by satin, read the bible.

temptation of Christ in Christianity, refers to the temptation of Jesus by the devil as detailed in each of the Synoptic Gospels, at Matthew 4:1-11, Mark 1:12-13, and Luke 4:1-13
To PattyAnn: he preach like a pacifist, so in turn he is a pacifist. remember to offer the other cheek next time.
To Pontiff: it doesn’t give you the right to hit your brother’s and sister’s, even at the age of thirdy
To Pontiff: If he did love them, he would have found a different way to do it, but instead, he used violence to deal with it and not love, and if he had to resort to violence, then satin wasn’t very tempting when Jesus spent his days and nights in the wilderness, but that is beside the point.

The fact is Jesus was angered, attack the money changers, and offered no recourse to change their ways.
To Pontiff: I’m talking about Jesus and the choices he made: instead of love and reason, he used violence. Would you hit your spouse, even though you love them, would you hit them, give them a black eye or a bruised rib and would they love you back?

P.S I’m not talking about some experiments that you may or may not hear of with a creditable source.
To Pontiff: Humans make war and humans make peace, and the way Christians talk always say how Jesus was so non-violent, passive, mild and is above all humans on this earth.

He didn’t just flipped tables and such According to the synoptics, Jesus targeted specifically the money changers and the dove sellers

Answer by No Chance Without Jesus
If you reject the right hand of His love and fellowship

You are left with the left hand of righteousness and judgment.

That’s the lesson for the day kiddies.

Stevie Wonder – I believe (when I fall in love it will be forever); Religious folk, so what’s it feel like to get your prayers answered?

One of my favorites… Last Track (10) of Stevie Wonder’s album: “Talking Book” Lyrics: Shattered dreams, worthless years, Here am I encased inside a hollow shell, Life began, then was done, Now I stare into a cold and empty well The many sounds that meet our ears the sights our eyes behold, Will open up our merging hearts, And feed our empty souls I believe when I fall in love with you it will be forever, I believe when I fall in love this time it will be forever Without despair we will share, And the joys of caring will not be replaced, What has been must never end And with the strength we have won’t be erased When the truths of love are planted firm, They won’t be hard to find, And the words of love I speak to you will echo in my mind I believe when I fall in love with you it will be forever, I believe when I fall in love this time it will be forever I believe when I fall in love with you it will be forever, I believe when I fall in love with you it will be forever I’m so glad that I found someone to believe in again, I’m so glad that I found someone to believe in again God surely answered my prayer, God surely answered by prayer, You know God surely answered my prayer, You know God surely answered my prayer, God always will answer your prayers, Believe in one who will answer my prayer, Thank you God Come on, let’s fall in love, You’re the woman I’ve been waiting for, Come on, let’s fall in love, You’re the girl that I really adore, Come on, let’s fall in love… [etc]

Honestly curious… can you wish for a cup of coffee, and ten seconds later your secretary comes in with a mug? Hows that deal work? Does it seem like ordinary things come together by coincidence, or what? Do you hear a voice in your head or somewhat?

That’s the problem with religious people.

They’re like drunk people in the manner that they’re always hoping and waiting for someone/something to “save” them.

We can’t rely on superficial ideas. We need to go out and do things ourselves and/or with others.
