Question by : Oprah’s show on miracles…a miracle of timing. (please read NOTE) Air date or YouTube link?
Oprah had a show on miracles and this was one of the stories. I watched the episode and couldn’t believe how it turned out. Here are the details, some of which I might’ve screwed up, but you’ll get the jist. A couple is trying to save money to send their son to college (medical school?) and I believe they wind up losing their house, or moving, and they move away to another town/city/state I think and didn’t have money to send son to school. Years later, the son still finds a way to go to school BUT is THOUSANDS of dollars in debt and can’t finish. His parents have died by now I believe and he takes a trip back to his parent’s old house that he grew up in to re-visit his old stomping grounds and walk down memory lane. He goes by the house and it happens to be for sale and their is an open house that day, so he goes in. He is there for only a short amount of time but while he’s there the mail carrier comes by to deliver a letter addressed to his parents who have not lived there in YEARS! This was the LAST DAY the mail carrier was going to deliver the letter, actually I think it was a total accident that the letter was being delivered because the normal mail carrier knew it was undeliverable but he was absent that day and the sub mail carrier unknowingly delivered it anyway. The letter was from a bank stating that funds in an old account would be turned over to the government if not claimed within a short time. The son MIRACULOUSLY was there at the EXACT TIME to receive the letter and he later claimed the money that was in the account which was enough to pay off debt and continue and finish school. TOTAL MIRACLE! Does anyone remember this and does anyone know the date of this airing so I can find video archive on this? I want to see this again; it gave me goosebumps. It was on Oprah sometime between 2000-2005 (vague I know).

Ok, let’s clarify because I posted this earlier and got stupid responses not pertaining to the question (typical I guess). This is not the who likes/hates Oprah thread. I don’t even like Oprah, I just happened to be killing time and saw this episode. So if you can’t contribute anything meaningful to this thread, bugger off! That said, could this story/account be bogus? Sure. Again, however, this isn’t the thread to discuss it’s authenticity. The question is: has anyone else seen this episode (and yes, it did air) and if so, can you direct me to a YouTube video of it or at least provide airing date so I can look into it? Additionally, let’s pretend that this account is 100% accurate as I described. The details of the account would be TOO uncanny to dismiss as mere coincidence and I would personally be forced to file it under “Miracle!” Now, if you’re a faithless, skeptical bastard then you lead a miserable life and I can’t say anything to you that would make any tangible difference!
