Depends on the complexity of the website. I have a template shopping cart i have made and charge 500 pounds for it. It can be rebranded to any shop type, takes a few hours to install n setup :)

have some local products to sell and im thinking of giving e-commerce a try. how do i go about receiving payments through credit cards? afraid im clueless and still in the early stages of research.

does anybody have experience on this? ebay online store? tips, advice, anything would be appreciated.

If you have ecommerce, do you haave a website to place your products on. You may also want to investigate a merchant account this way you can accept credit card payments through your checking account. Merchant accounts are quick way to recirve you money. before a merchant account the public has to have a way of seeing your product I hope this helps.
