Giving unconditionally is fantastic, YES!!! I do it all the time! Heck, I’m doing it RIGHT NOW with this video…lol! Giving to *some* people, whom you feel compelled to help, but can’t afford to pay for your services and can only provide you with gratitude in exchange…. IS fantastic too! It all comes down to BALANCE!!! You can only do so much!!! I feel that in order to live a healthy, balanced, abundant life, there needs to be a balance between giving to others vs. giving to yourself. There also needs to be a balance between giving unconditionally to others vs. valuing, loving & respecting yourself enough to assert your worth, charge for your services or at least ask for some type of energy exchange/ trading (if you are a holistic/ spiritual healer or counsellor, for example) and learning to say NO (politely, yet authentically) to the demands that are placed on you that don’t align with your truth/ make you feel uncomfortable in some way. Remember, when you do things out of guilt, or out of a fear of not being good enough/ being rejected/ criticized, you are giving your power away, and not helping that person as much as you could if you were being real. You are not doing yourself or anyone a favor! I believe it’s really important to do things from a space of love. A part of doing things from a space of love, is LOVING YOURSELF ENOUGH to first & foremost take care of you! many years ago my dad made a pact with the devil in trade of something… i am guessing his soul but this affects me too.. in exchange of money/wealth… as a result this has really affected me I had demons inside of me that i never even knew i had.. they manifested themselves…I am now a christian.
